It’s with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Vivian Muir, formerly of Riceville, Ontario,on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of 71 years to John and loving mother of Jan (Fern) and Kathy (late Bob). Dear sister of Dorothy McCormick of Cornwall, Ontario. Predeceased by sisters Annie Shane, Eileen Valcour, Ada Ryan, Josephine Wheeler, Muriel Ryan,Loretta Hamilton, and Florence Ryan. She leaves two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Terry and Ella Muir (late Billy). She will be missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Luc Church, Curran, Ontario. The family would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to meet them at the church before the funeral from 10 a.m. Many thanks to the compassionate staff at Villa St-Luc, Paramed and Saint Elizabeth’s for their care they provided in her final days.
