Peacefully at the Prescott Russell Residence Hawkesbury on Wednesday November 9,2016 Ethel Meyer (née Taylor) of Vankleek Hill formerly of Harrington, Quebec passed away in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved grandparents who raised her, William and Emma Cook. Predeceased by her husband Chapman Meyer. Loving mother of Herbert (Linda), Lorne (Evanelina), Mervin (Deborah), Marion Renwick (Aurey) and Doreen Low (Michael). Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 expected great-great-grandchild. Dear sister of William Picard (Betty). Predeceased by her sisters Doris Wilkes and Gertrude Watchorn (the late Lem). Fond sister-in-law of William Wilkes, Kathleen “Kay” Meyer (the late Albert), Tena Meyer (the late Harold Dent), Annie Meyer (Harold Cheslock), Mabel Meyer (Thomas Boa), Edith Meyer (the late Edward Kenney) and predeceased by Alice Meyer (the late Donald Boa). Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 10 am followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 12 noon.
