MCRAE, WILLIAM “BILL”

Peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Hawkesbury General Hospital after a lengthy illness Bill McRae of Vankleek Hill formerly of Hamilton, Ontario passed away at the age of 78. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred McRae and Marguerite Somers. Beloved husband of 47 years to Jean (née MacAulay). Loving and proud father of Yvonne McRae, Dorothy McRae-Golden (Bruce), Kim Bates (the late Wade), Ed McRae (Norma) and Bill McRae (Stephanie). Dearly loved grandfather “Grumpy” to Candace, Jonathon, Mitchell, Shaunna and Alexis. Predeceased by his sister, Judy McRae. Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 1 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm in the funeral home.
