Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Wednesday, October 11, at the age of 92. Alexander was a gentle and kind man who farmed and resided in Vankleek Hill. Son of the late Annie McCaskill and Roderick McRae, dear brother of Stanley (Gertrude deceased) and Murdie (deceased); fond cousin of Alexander McCaskill. Much loved by his nephews, Robert, Terry, Ken, Brian and their families. Friends visited at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 1 p.m. Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m. followed by interment at McLaughlin Cemetery.
