MCCART, LORRAINE (NÉE DUROCHER)
Mrs. Lorraine McCart (née Durocher) of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge passed away after a short battle with cancer on May 23rd 2018 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael McCart. Predeceased by her parents, Albert Durocher and Ida Bergeron, two brothers, Philippe and François, two sisters, Thérèse and Cécile and one granddaughter, Erin. Dear mother of Helen (Piers Hemmingsen), John (Darlene Rodger), Frances (Neal Carty), James (Cindy Provencal) and Theresa (Greg Thibideau). Sister of Benoit (Simone), Marthe (Maurice), Monique (late Gerard). Also survived by nine grandchildren, Amanda, Vanessa, Joshua, Michaela, Megan, Ethan, Evan, Allison, Arthur, three sisters-in-law, Teresa (McCart) Moncrieff, Louise (Porter) Pollock and Huguette (Beaulne) Durocher, many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was a founding member of the Grenville Women’s Institute. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Desforges Funeral Home, 188 rue Principale, Grenville, QC – (819) 242-2113. Funeral will be held in the Grenville Catholic Church (Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs), Saturday June 16th 2018 at 11 AM. Visitation Friday June 15th, 2018 from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
