Passed away at home on Friday, November 27, 2020. Ian MacLeod of Maxville; age 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Helen MacLeod. Loving father of John D. MacLeod (Sara) of Maxville. Cherished grandfather of Ella and Alexa MacLeod. Dear brother of Melba Shaver (late Don) of Toronto, and Shirley Ferguson (Donald) of Maxville. Predeceased by his brothers William and Campbell MacLeod, by his sister Alma Metcalfe (Ian of Toronto), and by his parents William and Grace MacLeod (nee Campbell). Relatives and friends may attend an attendance controlled visitation at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 9 am -11 am. For those who wish to attend the controlled attendance visitation must call the Funeral Home between 9 am & 5 pm to register your attendance. A Private Funeral Service in the Chapel of the Funeral Home will follow. A Public Committal Service will be held at the Maxville Cemetery on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 12:45pm. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
