MACDONELL, Alex – The family of the late Alex MacDonell would like to thank each and every one of you who attended Alex’s Funeral Service. Our heartful gratitude to relatives, friends, neighbours for their many acts of kindness. Our sincere thank you for your beautiful cards, Masses, food brought to our home, flowers, emails, on-line messages, hugs and charitable donations to the Alzheimer Society and Champions for Kids. Thank you to the nurses and physicians at St. Joseph’s Care Centre, Cornwall for their excellent care and compassion. To Father Eric Robichaud for his visits and for the Funeral service. We thank Gabrielle Campbell for the beautiful music at the church. Thank you Michael for playing the bagpipes. Alex would have been so proud. Thank you Carol for the beautiful eulogy that was so fitting to Alex. Thank you to the readers, Cathy, Kim and Karen. Special thanks to the pallbearers, Kevin, Rob, Leonard, Pat, Mike and Dale. We thank Lois for the delicous lunch and Linda for her work organizing the hall. To Mark, Lisa, Devon and Cheryl of Hillcrest Funeral Home, we thank you for your words of comfort, compassion and professionalism. A special thank you to Lloyd who gave us tremendous support during this difficult time, a true friend. To all of you who contributed, your kindness and support will always be appreciated. Alex will always be in our hearts and missed by all who knew him.
