(1933 – 2018)
At the Residence Rivière du Nord, on June 8th, 2018 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Emma Bigelow. Loving father of Perry and Cathy (John Gallant). Cherished grandfather of Kaitlynn (Miguel Dunn) and Dylan. Predeceased by his three brothers and two sisters, Alfred (Brenda), Johnny, George (Madeleine), Isabel (late Charlie) and Barbara (late Doug). He also leaves to mourn his three brothers and his sister, Merton (Phyllis), Jimmy (Shirley), Raymond, Kay (Flemming), his nephews and nieces, others members of his family and many friends. Donald was Lieutenant for the Brownsburg-Chatham fire department for almost twenty years. He was also a member for fifty years and very dedicated to his church. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. What we keep in memory is ours forever. The funeral service will be held on Saturday June 23rd, at 2:00 pm. at the Margaret Rodger Memorial Presbyterian Church, 463 Principale, Lachute. The visitation will take place on Friday June 22nd, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Saturday the complex will be open at 12:00 .
