MACCRIMMON – Community support, before and after Harold’s passing, has been a tremendous comfort for our family including sister, Barbara. We were blessed to receive help with farm chores, dog walking, meals, city accommodations, lawn and garden work, transportation, charitable donations, along with supportive visits, calls, emails, flowers and hugs. Care at the Ottawa General Hospital was above and beyond all standards, for Harold as well as us. All medical staff lead with compassion and deep knowledge, always tweeking resources to add another layer of comfort. Munro and Morris, Rev. Julia Apps Douglas and the Kenyon Presbyterian Church ladies honored Harold’s wishes carrying out a service that truly represented his personality. Dunvegan museum grounds were meticulously groomed, a proper relaxed setting for all. Many thanks to a caring community.
