Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday, December 19, 2022 Shirley Lavigne (nee Harris) of L’Orignal passed away at the age of 78. Predeceased by her parents William Harris and Ruth Charter and also by her first husband George Kilbride. Beloved wife of Jean-Louis Lavigne. Loving mother of Darlene Kilbride (Stan McGillis), Percy Kilbride (Barb MacAdam) and Reigh Kilbride (Shirley), Diane Mooney (Barry) and Joanne Peterson (Sylvain Lalonde). Dearly loved grandmother of Krista, Quinn, Adam, Eleni, Tyler, Amber, Crystal, Brandon, Geoffrey, and Matthew. Dear sister of Helen (Richard Krzyzewski), Florence (Roy Laprade). Sister-in-law of Aline Villeneuve (Florent). Also predeceased by her infant daughter Kim Lee Kilbride, and her siblings William, Howard, Harry, Beatrice and Ruth. A Private Family Service will be held. In memory of Shirley, a donation to the Valoris Foundation of Prescott-Russell (Children’s Aid Society) would be appreciated.
