HUDSON – The Hudson family would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and condolences, generous contributions of food, as well as the donations in Mother’s memory. Mary passed away suddenly on December 27, 2016 at the grand age of 92. We were thrilled to see so many of you at Mom’s Irish Wake at the Curling Club on January 2nd – it was a marvelous turnout and we were all delighted to welcome so many old friends, neighbours, and family. What a lovely send off for Mother Mary – she would have been thrilled with the Irish music, jokes, and stories. Vankleek Hill, you are one special town and we thank you! We are proud to call it our ‘hometown’! A special ‘Thank you’ to Sandra Robinson who tended to Mother’s needs daily and to Shelley Ryan who continually brought muffins and goodies when visiting Mom. They were our saviours and their presence allowed Mother to stay in her own home till the end! When we pass on we hope that Mark & Lisa Henderson at Hillcrest Funeral Home can look after us – they were the best!
