HENDERSON, DAN – We want to offer heartfelt gratitude to the many friends, neighbours, and colleagues who gave us overwhelming support during this very difficult time. We wish to thank everyone for taking the time out of their busy lives to come to the visitation and the funeral service. It really lifted our spirits to see how many people admired and respected Dan. For those who brought the delicious food, it was very appreciated. The beautiful plants and flowers that everyone sent were enjoyed during and after the funeral. Also: the donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute, the thoughtful cards of sympathy, facebook condolences, emails and your prayers were, and continue to be a big support to us.
On a professional note, we want to express gratitude to the Wylie family members for their understanding and patience while our two families travel this road together.
A heartfelt thank you to Tubman Funeral Home, Pinecrest Remembrance Services and Cole Funeral Services, Vaella Graphic Design and Gilles Lamar for your support and professionalism.
On a personal note, we extend special thanks to Maureen Murphy for baking all those cookies that were enjoyed by everyone during the visitation. Danny would have been very pleased.
To Mike and Cheryl-Ann Courtemanche we thank you so much for all the extra effort and time you gave over those very difficult days both in Vankleek Hill at Hillcrest Funeral Home and in Ottawa during Danny’s visitation and funeral. Your professionalism and friendship is always appreciated.
To Bill Connors, we can never thank you enough for all the support and friendship you have given us not only during this time but also throughout all these years of helping us at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Danny always enjoyed working with you but also enjoyed the visits more.
