It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Catherine (Kay) Forbes (nee Calvank) on February 5th, 2019 at the tender age of 87, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents, Angus Calvank and Sarah Miller, brothers, James Calvank and Dougie Calvank (Diane). Beloved wife of the late Clarence Forbes. She leaves behind her 3 children, Kevin, Ian (Abir) and Karen (Mario), 4 grandchildren, Megan, Jeremy, Michael and Jessie, her brother, Keith Calvank (Maureen) and her sister, Barbara (late Al Kaukanen) along with many nieces and nephews. Catherine was a loving woman that always brightened everyone’s day, never wanting to bother anyone but always ready to help in any way she could. She will be truly missed by all. The family would like to thank Bayshore Homecare, St-Elizabeth Health Care and especially the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
