FINLAYSON, SARAH RYAN
Surrounded by members of her immediate family, Sarah passed away peacefully at Hawkesbury and District General Hospital on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis complicated by a bout of pneumonia. Sarah was born in Hamilton, Scotland on June 7,1936 and came to Canada as a bride in what husband Jim often called an extended honeymoon. Sarah was proud of her Scottish heritage and was an adventurous and strong minded woman always willing to learn new things and was well known for her sewing and craft skills. A Private Service was held at Dalhousie Mills United Church Cemetery. For those wishing, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
