At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 10, 2022. Rachelle Turcotte Diotte of Alexandria; age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Réal Diotte and by a previous marriage to the late Georges Turcotte. Loving mother of the late Gaetan Turcotte, Denis Turcotte (Faye), Jeanne McHardy (late Elwood), Lorraine Turcotte, Wilfrid Turcotte (Cathy), and Louis Turcotte (Lyne) and step-mother of Gilles Diotte, Alain Diotte (Sylvie Titley), Sylvie Leduc (Rene), and Guylaine Leclerc (Francois). Cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Roseanna Cardinal (née Ouimet) and by her siblings Cecile Théorêt, Edmond Cardinal, Ernest Cardinal and Georgette Bissonnette. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 9am until 10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Paroisse Saint-Grégoire, Vankleek Hill on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Rachelle a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
