COUSINS, ELVA, PEARL (NÉE ROY)
Elva Pearl Cousins (née Roy) passed peacefully at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge in Cornwall, Ontario on January 18, 2019 in her 89th year. Elva was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Allan (January 2011). Loving mother of Judy Jacques (Graham), Mark, Reid (Suzanne), Janice Mongeon (Jacques) and Dale (Betty). Cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren, Allison, Shaun, Andrea, Andrew, Dan, Lisa, Brooke and Brittany and great-grandmother of three. As well, Elva leaves behind her sisters, Thelma Gauthier (late Gaston), Wilma Carter (John), Connie Gardiner (Tom) and her brother, Morris (Rena). Elva was also predeceased by her parents, Frank and Pearl (née Hews) Roy, sisters, Audrey and Josephine, brother, Lee and daughter-in-law, Lois (née Berry). Funeral arrangements entrusted to Desforges Funeral Home, 188 rue Principale, Grenville, QC – (819) 242-2113. Funeral Service Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019 at 11 AM in the St-Matthews Anglican Church, 365 rue Principale in Grenville. Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Condolences may be sent online by visiting www.desforges.ca.
