COURTOIS, ASHLEY ELIZABETH (COWAN)
Peacefully at home surrounded by love and family after a courageous battle against ovarian cancer. Ashley passed away at the age of 33 on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Her determined 3 1/2-year fight was an inspiration to many. Beloved wife of Nicholas Courtois, the love of her life. Loving and beautiful daughter of James and Karen Cowan. Dearly loved big sister of Shanna Delorme (Pascal) and Christopher (Kate). Special Aunty Ashley to Parker and Arya. Dear granddaughter of Isabel Dewar (the late Allan) and the late Ida and the late Archie Cowan. Fond daughter-in-law of France and Yvan Courtois, sister-in-law of Valérie (Petrina). She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ashley will always hold a special place in the hearts of her friends, co-workers and students. Visitation was held on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11 am at Knox Presbyterian Church, 29 High Street, Vankleek Hill.
