Byers, Audrey Jean (nee Bell)

Audrey passed away suddenly in her 73rd year, after a prolonged illness, at home on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Jean (Patterson) Bell. Audrey was dearly loved by her husband, Rev. Bill Byers, her children, Shannon Daigeler and her husband Chris, Steven Byers and his wife Jill (Collins); and her beloved grandsons, Liam, Owen and Evan Daigeler and Sam and Henry Byers. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Mary Byers McNabb, and her brother-in-law, Harold MacMillan, nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. James Anglican Church, 1138 Bridge St., Manotick on Saturday, Nov. 16, beginning at noon with service at 2 p.m. and/or a graveside burial service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov.17 at Cassburn Cemetery, 1780 Cassburn Road, L’Orignal. Memorial donations to St. James Anglican Church, Manotick, or the Lung Association in Audrey’s memory will be greatly appreciated. The family wishes to thank a host of caregivers for their excellent care over the years.
