BRUNET, VIOLAINE (NÉE SÉGUIN)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Violaine Brunet née Séguin of Hawkesbury, on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the age of 78 years. She was the loving wife of 56 years of Raymond Brunet; the daughter of the late Oscar Séguin and the late Imelda Céré; the beloved mother of Martin, Alec and Julie (Chad); the beloved grandmother of Daniel, Liane, Vincent, Sara and Lenna; the great-grandmother of Mikhail; the dear sister of Raymonde (late Harry) and Maurille (Francine). She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital for the good care given to Violaine.
Violaine was a woman full of life. She was an artist who had done many incredible works of art, a traveler who had made over 50 trips and a teacher who was dedicated to the field for over 30 years and who taught elementary schools at the regional level in Prescott-Russell. But the most important thing for Violaine was her family. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511. A celebration will be held in the privacy of the family.
