BANGS, DEAN
Peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Ste. Anne’s Veterans Hospital at the age of ninety-four. Beloved husband of the late Rita Conway. Cherished father of Nancy, Kevin, Deana (Tom Muir)and Laurie Ann (Kent Holmes). Devoted Poppa to Ashley and Kelsey Muir and Kaila, Ryan, Sheldon and Meaghan Holmes. Predeceased by his siblings Mona Ward, Lifie, Una Haughton, Ryan, Doris Wylie and twin sister Jean. Fondly remembered by his sister Barbara Cunning and sister-in-law Rachel Conway and many nieces and nephews. Dean proudly served his country in WWII with the Sherbrooke Fusilier Tank Regiment, upon his return he continued his career at Northern Electric and retired after 41 years of service.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 372 Genevieve St., Hawkesbury, ON. on Friday, July 7, 2017
from 1p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 2p.m. followed by interment at St-Alphonse Cemetery, Hawkesbury, ON. Heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Ste. Anne’s Veterans Hospital for making his time there special and caring. No flowers please, a donation in memory of Dean to Ste.
