DESCRIPTION:Help us spread the Champlain Winter Carnival spirit February 9th and 10th! The 2019 edition has something for everyone! For the full scoop visit www.champlain.ca. \nThe Champlain Winter Carnival kicks off on Saturday\, February 9th in L’Orignal at the L’Orignal Park this year with an ATOM C Hockey Game vs Parents at 10 a.m. and a family skate and old fashioned sliding from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m..  An outdoor rink was especially made for the Winter Carnival! There will also be treasure hunts and kids relay games followed by the Annual Firefighter Hockey Tournament and Barrel Jumping Competition begining at 1 p.m..  Lunch and snacks will be available on site.   Carnival goers can make their way to Vankleek Hill\, at the Community Centre (36 Mill Street)\, for more fun activities in the afternoon beginning at 2 p.m. when the lobby bar in the Arena opens.  There will be kids crafts in the Reception Hall from 2 to 4 p.m.\, free INDOOR public skating DISCO style from 2 to 5 p.m. and a 4 on 4 Family Fun Hockey Tournament on the outside rink in Mill Street Park (36 Mills Street) from 2 to 5 p.m..  To register for the 4 on 4\, please contact inforecreation@champlain.ca.
