We will explore: the adolescent’s developing brain\, how to shift reactive to receptive states of mind\, the importance of emotional self-regulation & co-regulation\, how to connect plus ignite self-esteem with the nurturing language of “positivity” \, HeartMath® Anxiety Reduction & other tools to reduce anxiety & anger.\nLinda Aber is a certified Theraplay® Group Specialist\, HeartMath® Anxiety/Anger Reduction Practitioner\, Attachment Parent Coach\, Family Life Educator\, nurse and adoptive parent.  ADULT AUDIENCE\n\n\n\n\n1:30 – 3:30 PM – Relationship-Based Approaches for Children with Autism – Presented by Dr. Katie Cohene & Jade Lawsane\, ASD Center of Excellence (Sponsored by AAL)\n\nLearn how relationship-based approaches can make a difference and improve outcomes. SUMMARY:Film Night at StoryFest: Can You Ever Forgive Me?
DESCRIPTION:Greenwood’s StoryFest 2019 is presenting “Can You Ever Forgive Me?” starring Melissa McCarthy as its Film Night. A feature or documentary is always chosen related to writing. This year’s movie is based on the real-life misadventures of Lee Israel\, a frustrated author who struggled to pay her rent and bills in 1990s New York. Desperate for money\, Israel hatched a scheme to forge letters by famous writers and sell them.
