United Way aims to raise $40,000 at the auction for local community programs while also promoting and supporting local businesses. Businesses are invited to contribute new merchandise or equipment, end-of-stock or end-of-season merchandise, services or subscriptions at the September 8 event.
Participating businesses will share proceeds from sales with United Way Prescott-Russell on a 60/40 basis with 60% going to the merchant and 40% going to United Way to support programs that provide social and health services, support for individuals living in or at risk of poverty, and children and youth development initiatives.
