Saturday Explorers: Crafting in the Past
Saturday, May 27 from 1pm to 4pm
Drop by with your family and discover the history of crafting in Nepean. Guided and self-guided activities will be available around the museum. Explore a touch table of historic artefacts, contribute to a Nepean Museum quilt, and try your hand at spinning and weaving! Activities created for children ages 3 to 10 and accompanying adults, but all are welcome.

Venez en famille revivre l’histoire de l’artisanat à Nepean. Des activités dirigées et libres seront offertes dans tout le musée. Découvrez des objets anciens grâce à une table tactile, contribuez à la fabrication de la courtepointe du Musée de Nepean et faites l’expérience du filage et du tissage. Les activités sont conçues pour des enfants de 3 à 10 ans accompagnés d’adultes, mais tous sont bienvenus.
