Easter at the Estate
Saturday, March 31 – 10 am to 4 pm
Spring was an important season for farming families like the Billings. Explore how themes of renewal were reflected in Victorian-era Easter imagery and celebrations while enjoying fun activities and games with the whole family. Meet the Easter Bunny, take part in our Easter egg hunt, decorate eggs with traditional dyes, and more. You can even plant your own carrot seed and take it home to watch it grow!

Le printemps était une saison importante pour les familles d’agriculteurs comme la famille Billings. Venez découvrir les façons dont le thème du renouveau se reflétait dans l’imagerie et les célébrations de la fête de Pâques à l’ère victorienne, tout en profitant d’activités et de jeux amusants pour toute la famille. Venez rencontrer le Lapin de Pâques, participer à la chasse aux œufs de Pâques, décorer des œufs à l’aide de teintures traditionnelles, et plus encore! Vous pouvez même planter vos propres semences de carotte et les rapporter à la maison pour les voir pousser!
