Dunvegan Ceilidh

March 16, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

$20

Musicians Anita MacDonald and Ben Miller blend the traditional sound of the Cape Breton fiddle with the haunting strains of the Scottish Border pipes for a magical evening of Gaelic dance tunes and soulful airs. If this March’s performance is anything like last year’s, there will be two hours of wall-to-wall Celtic music rivaling anything Dunvegan’s proud little stage has seen in its 99-year history. The ceilidh-like concert will have an intermission halfway so everyone can catch their breath, enjoy a few complementary snacks and refill their glasses at the cash bar. After the show, Ben and Anita will stick around for a meet and greet.

Tickets for the concert are available as of March 7 at the Quirky Carrot in Alexandria, the Home Hardware in Maxville and The Review in Vankleek Hill. Proceeds from the show will go towards the DRA’s playground renovation project.
