Aménagement du boisé et valeurs de société: le point de vue autochtone

Au cours de cet atelier, Richard Lalande, Gaëtan Poitras et Pierre Laprise, trois propriétaires de boisés certifiés FSC et Autochtones non inscrits, rappellent ce que signifient les principes et critères de la certification FSC pour la gestion d’une forët. Ils expliquent pourquoi ils ont choisi de faire certifier leur boisé et comment ce choix correspond naturellement à une vision globale et à des valeurs sociales liées à leur patrimoine autochtone. Au cours de la visite d’un boisé, en après-midi, ils présentent des exemples particuliers de gestion guidés par un plan d’intendance basé sur les principes de la certification FSC.
