Are you ready for the 193rd edition of Expo Lachute Fair?

July 2018 will mark the 193rd edition of Expo Lachute Fair, the oldest agricultural fair in Québec.

This year’s fair will take place from Thursday, July 12 to Sunday, July 15, 2018, on the Argenteuil Agricultural Society’s fairgrounds at 399 Gougeon Street, in Lachute.

As always, the fair prides itself on being first and foremost a mayfly activity with attractions for all ages.

Those present will be treated to adrenaline-fuelled events such as tractor pulls and school bus derbies and more tame, educational activities such as the opportunity to meet farm animals, including heavy horses, chickens, dairy and beef cattle.

The event will be kicked off on Thursday, July 12, by a parade; entry to the grounds will be free for the day.

Friday night will bring something new to the fair: a monster truck show. Those interested would do well to arrive early, since the show begins at 7 pm.

Finally, this year’s edition of the Lachute Fair has a plethora of musical talent. Each day of the fair will boast at least two bands who will shower the crowd with the sweet sounds of classic rock. blues, country and trad.

For more information including prices of admission, event and artist schedule and attractions list, please visit Expo Lachute Fair’s website (expolachutefair.com) or call the committee directly at 1 450 562-3741.
