To The Editor,
Jeff Laughren was the father of my niece. There has been no mention of him actually having a child in your publication. There was also a Go Fund Me page created for her, but I suppose that’s not as newsworthy as the relationship that he had with his girlfriend’s son and what they want to continue for the legacy of a man they barely had time to know. The other Go Fund Me for the other man that died was mentioned though. Maybe only certain facts are considered newsworthy? It looks to me like a lack of thorough investigative reporting. I’m disappointed in your paper.
